Description
This is a beautiful hand painted blue and white Chinese porcelain large diameter deep plate or charger, dating to the first half of the 18th century, circa 1720, Qing dynasty, either late Kangxi or Yongzheng period.
The plate is well potted and has been hand decorated in varying shades of cobalt 'steel' blue. The glaze is thin and glassy with a lovely bluish tinge.
The decoration is all hand painted in a floral pattern with rocks and flowers inside a leaf and flower border, with two long sprigs to the reverse and an outer brown rim.
The foot rim is neatly trimmed.

Overall a beautiful early Chinese porcelain blue and white porcelain plate, about 300 years old and in great condition.
