This is a substantial, hanging ceiling light, lamp or chandelier with six branches and beautiful glass conical shades, original to the Art Deco period.

The light is made from chromed metal possibly brass.

It has a central vertical tubular rod capped at the top by a circular stepped (a typical Art Deco feature) cover, the rod being fixed to a substantial chain section from which it can be suspended. The lower part of the rod is fixed to a matching stepped circular part which is detachable to allow for dismantling and wiring. Six tubular and rectangular sections, curved branches are fixed to this lower stepped section, the light fittings being fastened to these branches.

The glass shades are a beautiful feature. They are partially frosted and conical in shape appearing original to the piece.

Condition: There is some pitting and minor loss to the chrome plating.

Wiring:
We would recommend that the wiring be checked and possibly rewired to comply with the electrical regulations of the country of use.
