This is a bowl by Clarice Cliff in the "Hydrangea" pattern, circa 1933.

The Hydrangea pattern is a "Bizarre" pattern, produced in 1933. It is hand, in the green colourway, with flower heads and leaves in orange, yellow and brown, against thin stripes of pastel shades of yellow, browns and greens, with the pattern named after the dominant flower.

The bowl is fully marked to the underside, with the Bizarre printed mark of the period.

Overall a nice "Bizarre" piece in a great art deco shape and pattern.
