This is a high quality Earthenware Japanese Satsuma - Kutani large Bowl, beautifully hand decorated and dating to Circa 1940.
This is a well potted large diameter bowl, sitting on a low foot. 
The bowl is beautifully hand-painted inside with a landscape mountain scene and on the outside, with birds, mountains and trees.
It also has a fine hand painted and gilded border pattern around the top inner rim.
The bowl is signed to the base with a red , two character, Kutani mark.
Overall a very beautiful Satsuma bowl.
