These are a good set of SIX glazed ceramic wall tiles, hand enamelled with individual flowers and dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. The tiles were made by The Campbell Tile Co. of Stoke, Staffordshire
Each tile is nominally 6 inches ( 15.2cm) square. All six tiles are individually hand decorated with different country flowers all in enamels of various colours against a light cream ground colour. The tiles are in good condition and have the remains of tiling cement on the back. The back of each tile has the earlier moulded mark of The Campbell Tile Co. who started trading in 1882. Some of the tiles also have their pattern numbers ( HP No. 14 / B 1280) etc.
Overall, an interesting, colourful and individual set of tiles for display or use.
