This is a very good coffee can and saucer/dish DUO made from stone China ( ironstone) by SPODE in the English Georgian period, circa 1820.
Both pieces are beautifully hand decorated in the very distinctive tobacco leaf pattern, pattern number 2061. Their is also hand gilded detail decoration on both pieces. The upper rims have a dark ochre brown hand painted finish in the manner of 18th Century Chinese plates. The base of both pieces have the Spode stone China blue printed mark, as used by the factory from 1815-1830, with the pattern number, 2061, hand painted in iron red.
Overall a very decorative Coffee Can & Saucer by the Spode factory from the English Georgian period.
