This is an unusual hand-made Art-Glass paperweight from Uredale Glass, Masham, North Yorkshire, England which we date to the late 20th century.

The paperweight is hand made in the shape of a pebble. This is an individual fused glass piece with a thread of yellow & white glass fused into blue glass which is trailed to form a star shape to the centre.

The sticker of the maker is attached to the base.
UREDALE GLASS

Uredale Glass is one of the longest running small glass studios in the UK and has been operating over 40 years since being established by Tim Simon in Masham , North Yorkshire in 1981..

Tim Simon has a fine art background but fell in love with this magical material in Stourbridge, where he studied with a Master glassmaker from Stuart Crystal.
